HISTORY OF DEL FAVERO OASIS
Originally, Del Favero was renowned for cultivating rare orchids, attracting people from all over.
Aaron and her partner were captivated by the enchanting atmosphere and saw its potential for a romantic outdoor wedding venue in Tampa.
Inspired by its charm, they got part of the garden and transformed it into Del Favero Oasis, one of the best wedding locations in Florida. Adjacent to the wedding venue is Louis Del Favero Orchids Inc., the original orchid store that continues to thrive and provides the breathtaking orchid centerpieces for weddings at Del Favero Oasis.
BEST TIME TO GET MARRIED AT DEL FAVERO OASIS

The best time to get married at Del Favero Oasis is between September and May, when the weather is mild, because, I mean, we’re in Florida and it gets hot as F, so Del Favero Oasis closes its doors from July to September.
This beautiful Tampa wedding venue is ideal for intimate weddings, it can host up to 120 guests. So if you’re looking for something private, laid-back, and deeply connected to the outdoors, this is definitely it. Visit them here
Now, I just want to show you Savannah and Anthony’s wedding story so you can get a real feel for what your own wedding could look like at Del Favero Oasis.
Savannah and Anthony’s wedding story at Del Favero Oasis.
Their day started with a little bit of rain. But Savannah was so optimistic—the rain wasn’t going to take away her happiness. She knew she was marrying the love of her life, no matter what. In fact, she saw the rain as a blessing. Both she and Anthony are deeply connected to nature, and they were ready to embrace whatever the day brought.
By the time the ceremony came around the sun came out, and the weather turned out to be absolutely beautiful.
Savannah and Anthony shared a “first touch” before the ceremony, which helped calm their nerves. Then, under the beautiful ancient oak tres at Del Favero Oasis, they exchanged vows in a heartfelt celebration.
One of their favorite parts of the day was simply being surrounded by all their favorite people—friends, family, and most importantly, each other. “It means the world to have everyone we love in one place for something so special,” they shared.
Later that evening, during their first dance, it started raining again. But it felt magical—like it was meant to be. As the music played and everyone got ready to dance, the rain began to pour. And instead of hiding from it, everyone embraced it.
That’s what made this wedding so special.
Some brides might not be okay with rain on their wedding day, but Savannah and Anthony showed how beautiful it can be when you fully embrace nature. When you stop worrying about perfection and just live in the moment, everything becomes more joyful—not just for you, but for your guests too.
They’ll follow your lead.
Savannah & Anthony outdoor wedding Tips:
M: Any tips or advice for other couples planning an outdoor wedding?
S+A: “Go with the flow and don’t let the little hiccups steal your joy — outdoor weddings have their own kind of magic, even if the wind blows your hair a little wild or the sun shines extra bright. Embrace the beauty of being outside, and trust that everything will come together just as it’s meant to. Also, think through the logistics early — like comfortable shoes, shade for guests, and backup plans — so you can relax and fully enjoy the day when it comes!”
M: How do you two stay connected to nature and adventure in your everyday lives?
S+A: “Nature has always felt like the backdrop to our love story. We find so much joy in the little everyday adventures — long walks with our dogs, slow mornings in the sun, or simply being outside together with no agenda. It’s where we laugh the most, dream the biggest, and feel the closest. Being in nature reminds us that love doesn’t need grand gestures — just presence, connection, and a shared sense of wonder.”
